Ph.D. Student
My name is Opeyemi. I'm currently a Masters student in the Electrical and Computer Science (EECS) department at Oregon State University, Corvallis, Oregon, USA. I received my Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering from University of Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria in 2016. Before starting my Masters program, I worked as a Network Engineer in the Financial Services industry in Nigeria. I will be starting my PhD in Computer Science at NCAT in Fall 2023 advised by Dr. Olusola Odeyomi in the TML-ACS lab.
My focus will be on developing new algorithms that aim to enhance the security of distributed learning in the Internet of Things (IoT), with a particular emphasis on safeguarding privacy.
